Well, when Daph and I were in Taiwan, I decided that I wanted to reward myself for landing my job. I decided to look around for a new watch in Taiwan but couldn't find anything. But I've always had my eye on this certain watch. It was the new 2008 Oris Regulateur Der Meistertaucher. I think it means "master diver" or something like that. Its a 49mm with orange accents and luminova. It has a regulator movement where the central hand is only the minute hand. The hours and seconds are displayed in seperate smaller dials. It allows for 2000M (but I don't think I'll ever utilize that) and has helium release valve. Here are some pics:

Taiwan Day 2 - Part 2
So after resting for a bit we met up with mom. She's really into miniature things and wanted to take us to the Taipei Miniature Mueseum. Here are a bunch of pics.
When Daph turned the corner of one part of the museum, her face lit up! Here's what she saw. It was an exhibit dedicated to Hello Kitty. I only took a few pics but Daph took a bunch.
I'm not sure if you can see it too well but there's a little picture of hello kitty in this paperweight ring.
After the museum, mom took us to a really cool night market. We ate some crazy stuff. I didn't get to take pics b/c I was way too busy eating. Daph luckily took pics of us eating chinese sausage w/ wasabi, duck tongue, rooster's comb, and unlaid chicken egg just to name a few. It was kinda different but good none the less.

Taiwan Day 2 - Part 1
Well, we're back already from our trip to Ilha Formosa (Taiwan). It was really fun out there. I tried to upload my pics everyday for everyone to see but wasn't able to. So I will be doing that here now. Here's our 2nd day in Taiwan.
The Miramar Taipei Hotel
This was the view from where we sat on the second floor of the coffee house. I know its really hard to see but its a Rolex store (immediate left) and an Omega store (with the red banner across the street). We went to check out the Rolex store. It was kind of odd how right when we walked in, the saleswoman was on us like white on rice!!!! She even called the other saleswomen to tell her we were on our way up to the 2nd floor. They must try really hard to get that sale. We also did some shopping at Sogo department store but to save myself a little embarrasment, I decided not to go up in there taking pictures.
On our way back to the hotel Daph and I walked back to the hotel and found this hole in the wall shop in an alley that sold roasted duck. It was really good.

We decided to go walking at 9am. It was so hot that Daph and I decided to rest up and get away from the heat at Barista Coffee.

Taiwan - Day 1
Well, we're here again!!! It's awesome being back here but I could really do without the friggin 90 degree heat with 100% humidity! I was sweating like I just ran a marathon! But it is really nice to get away. Today we had breakfast buffet (which was surprisingly good), got to workout at the gym, and then rested (all before 10am). Around 11am, mom picked us up and we went to the Taipei zoo. It was really nice there and completely empty. At the zoo, we took a gondola ride up the mountains to a really nice tea area. We all chilled out, talked, ate, and drank tea. It was fun. Here's some pics from today taken with my N95.

Dom's Weekend
Well it was an eventful weekend. Not like the typical bachelor party with boobies and such but still fun. I didn't get any pics of the golfing but heres what I got. These pics were from my Nokia N95 phone:
Day 1:
Dom driving to the "unknown" place.
John and Jo playing phone tag on the way up.
Dom & John chillin at Applebee's in Tahoe.
Jo suffering from hypoglycemia b/c lack of food.
Dom, Gee, & Jo (in the background). Dom's showing off his new gear.
Mana Pots....fucking good!
Day 2:
Dom, Rex, & Ray postin for the camera. Glad they made it up there for the rafting.
Jo, Gee, & Rodney just chillin before we go rafting. Can't you see the excitment in their faces.

Studying sux.
Well, it's been a little over a month already since I graduated from nursing school. I've been studying pretty diligently for the past month in preparation for the state board exam for nursing. My date is set for July 15. I don't know though. I have two weeks till the exam but I still feel that I'm not close to being ready for it. With all this studying, I feel like my lifeforce is being drained day by day by day.....by day. Oh well. I even booked a hotel in oakland the night before the exam so I don't have to worry about driving over there in traffic....just one less thing to stress over. I guess I just gotta keep pushing. BTW, I didn't get the Stanford position I tried applying for. But there's more jobs in the sea.
On a good note....a couple weeks ago, I was talking to the wifey about my Oris watch and how it was stopping even though it was on a winder. She told me (forced is more like it) to take it back. So we went to Bloomingdales with Johnny. I was kinda expecting them to give me a hard time about it because its been quite a while since it was bought. The saleswoman asked me what was wrong with it, I told her, and next thing I knew, she brings out a brand new watch. BOOOYYAH!!!! Really great service over there. But for that amount of money, I guess they better have good service. Anyways, the new watch is working awesome!!!! No problems what so ever. But I'm keeping my eye on it.

Picture Time
Well it seems like now that school is out, I've been playing a lot more WoW. Its especially fun playing with everyone. Tonight we went through a dungeon called Black Fathom Deeps. It was quite exilarating!!! I couldn't believe we went in there with only four of us: Me (Bullshizznit), Daph (Angelie), Dom (Inasad), and Jo (Devoid). Great teamwork in there everyone. Too bad John boy wasn't there with Big Zheetar. We could've finished it in half the time. Here are some pics after we were done with our run.

Look at what I bought!!!!!!!!!!!
I just had to have this. Its the Omega Speedy Pro Alaska Project LE. So I contacted Topper Jewelry and they stated that they'll be receiving it within a couple weeks. I asked if they could hold it and they said they'd take my credit card and charge it for me. I was hesitant at first but I just had to have it. Take a look!!!!
