Long time no see.

Well, its been a hell of a long time since I've been on here. Hmmm, let's see. The wifey and I are going to Taiwan in December. I can't wait. We got a mini poodle. His name is Harry. And I'm back in school. Just a few more months till I graduate. Anyways, the guys have been playing RC recently. I've decided to do a few mods on the MGT.

Before (rear end):

After (front end):

The GPM aluminum shock towers, Associated shock caps, and Associated red springs (stiff) are the only upgrades I'll be doing. Oh, I also bought a crap load of extra parts too in case I break stuff (turnbuckles, A-Arms, and steering blocks). Hopefully I don't bust anything.

LOL....I'm glad I bought the shock towers. After removing the old shocks off the rear shock tower, I noticed a FAT crack along the base of the tower. It was causing it to bend inward. That's why I couldn't align my old body with the body mounts. I'm sorry to hear about your truck breaking. But let's get together this weekend to bash!!!!

i had that same problem with the shock tower when i had my mgt too...its so subtle, you dont realize its broken until you start ripping shit apart. the only sign is that you cant put your lid on properly.

Hey Ray. I'm surprised that there was such a big crack on that tower. I didn't even bother looking at it. I just figured the body post were just really bent. I'll be more thorough checking my MGT after we bash.
